there is this little girl...

...that i personally know. she does not have any problem in getting whatever she wants. it is not that she is spoiled, or rotten; she hardly ever whines. No, this little girl is much more than any of those things... she is sneaky.

around our tiny house you must watch all of your prized possessions with unfailing eyes if you do not want little miss schmutz to snatch it up. No chair is left up to the computer - ever. No valuable anything is less than three feet to the ground. Cherished food or drink, when left within reach, is relentlessly taken from any hungry parent.

...even the coveted job of washing the dishes was stolen from me... poor.ol.me...

this sneaky little miss slowly inched her way over to the sink one night when i was cleaning up. and, before i even realized it, she had plopped her bum into the sink and was busy "cleaning" dishes. luckily, for me and her, there were only clean dishes in the sink at the time. but this did mean, unluckily for me, that i wasn't able to clean any more dishes until baby bedtime.

..but, then, after a fun hour of playing in the sink and taking pictures, i was grateful for being forced into not cleaning anymore and just spending time with little miss sneaky.

You are one amazing Mom to let your little miss sneak find adventure and wonder in the small world around her. Continue to do this and she will grow into a person who will always see the wonder and mystery of God's creations and feel your love watching over her everytime she 'sneaks' someplace new!
