changes all around...

Our new little addition finally decided to make her debut!

There was a period of guessing and wondering if there was something wrong, but our midwife finally decided to induce me on monday, june 23rd to eliminate any doubt.

It was such a testimony of the power of Priesthood Blessings. Jake gave me one on Sunday, the 22nd, and from that moment on I knew that every thing was going to be just fine, even though I didn't know what was going to happen; which was such a blessing because we went through some ups and downs over the next 48 hours. We ended up going to the hospital on sunday, because our little angel had stopped moving around like normal... we got monitored for an hour and so, and were sent home to come back the next day for our scheduled anti-stress test.

Monday, I ran to work for an hour or so, before going home due to my computer at work not working, which was very nice since I was able to work at home for a couple hours, which is so much more relaxing. I was also able to, more consistantly, count little Ashlyn's movements... which still were few and far inbetween.

Well, that afternoon we went for our scheduled test and that is when they decided to induce me due to low fluid and fluctuation in the baby's heartbeat.

anyways, long story short, we ended up arriving at the hospital right after 5pm... they ran me through all the paperwork (which was so nice because we were all set and didn't have to go through it all right before we wanted to go home) and set me up with the drugs by 6pm. I did decide, after the petocin got into over-gear and I was having a contraction about 15 seconds apart, that I wanted an epidural. After that it was easy going and our little Angel was born at 10:05pm!

And I promise to post more pictures! But, due to certain circumstances, I am changing my blog to PRIVATE... so please get me your EMAIL ADDRESS as soon as you can!!! I don't want anyone to miss any of our fun, exciting life (hehe)- so let me hear from you!

Thanks!!!
