I cannot believe how fast my little miss is growing up. It seems like just yesterday I was frantically trying to hold her head up and make sure that she always had good long naps. Now here she is grabbing just about anything I try to pick up, and learning how to "softly" pet the kitties.
I have been trying to figure out a time when I could dress my little miss up and take some good pictures of her in her fabulous Christmas dress (from the wonderful... janie & jack). But, like most mothers, I can hardly find the time needed to fold my laundry.. let alone, dress my baby up and spend minutes upon minutes trying to get her to smile. But I finally sat my babe down today and gave it a full heart attempt, and I am more pleased with the outcome than I thought I would be.
The soft, golden colors seem to frame miss schmutz's chubby little face perfectly, and my brother was actually able to get her to smile and giggle for a few precious shots before she tried to crawl after him.
and... I have got to say that being a mother (even to a crazy little girl that has conveniently gotten into the habit of waking up in the middle of the night, wanting to play) is the most fulfilling and wonderful thing that I have ever done in my life.. and I wouldn't change it for any wish/dream out there.
