Big New Changes!

We're back! and busy as ever... quick recap of our latest happenings...

Jake: who actually has the biggest news of all, so we will start with him first... He has decided to not to be a Chiropractor, and now wants to become a Naturopathic Doctor. Which means we will not be moving to New York in May, but we still will be moving... we just don't know where or when.

Since this has been a very recent happening, (Jake finally made his decision last week) we have been busily applying and coordinating resumes, applications and letters of recommendations. But we are happy to report that Jake has his first interview with a school in Tempe AZ the first week in March!

And, for those who don't know what a Naturopathic Doctor is - it is a doctor who knows all the hum-dum regular doctor stuff as well as a natural approach to healing patients with acupuncture, chiropractic adjustments, herbal remedies and homeopathics. Its combining Western, Oriental and European medicine all together into one doctor. (Europeans use a lot of homeopathics and herbs, etc, etc)

Whats new with Sara? ah, not much... just getting Jake ready for interviews, helping him with the essays, etc and taking care of our sweet little, growing like a weed....

ASHLYN!

Who is now eight months and continuing to learn new things every day. Now she will pull herself up to everything within sight and likes to make the weirdest noises with her little mouth. Her favorite pass-time is to grab both of my hands, with hers, and run around the house. There are no guesses when she'll start walking, because she is afraid of falling, but she also seems to have some of Jake's daredevil attitude! All I know is that whenever she puts her mind to the idea of walking, she'll be off in no time. She also cut her top two teeth in this past week, so we are counting four lovely pearly whites that she loves to chew mommies fingers with.

I can't believe how fast this kid is growing up, but I am so very grateful that we are not going to be leaving utah until fall, and that we will be able to spend her first summer with family!

That is exciting. I also heard from my mom that Jake may be looking into schools up here in WA. If you have interviews or would like to check it out up here you are MORE than welcome to stay with us! We love company especially when it is family. Hope everything continues to go well. Ashlyn is adorable!
