I still cannot get over the fact that my baby is a year old. I have been reminiscing this past week about the past year - flipping through old photos, looking at smaller baby clothes... and finding myself slightly sad that my baby is not really a baby anymore...
...but, honestly, little miss schmutz just keeps on getting more fun with age! I have so much fun with her now a days, that my sorrow about not being able to rock a baby while she sleeps is over come with a new found fun that is the toddler age.
and besides, who could not love such a rambunctious girl! This picture captures her spirit the best - a pure spitfire of energy - complete daddy girl.
but i just wanted to drop a note before we head out this evening for the long weekend out in the Utahan country! have a great independence day!!!!

I LOVE the toddler stage too! I've found that they keep getting more fun as they age.
